What we do

A lookup, not a database dump.

You bring an identifier. We return current contact details for that person, drawn from sources we are licensed to hold. Each request stands alone and is recorded against your account.

Contact lookup

Search on ID number, name and surname, or a known phone number. Returns telephone numbers, email addresses and the last-seen date for each.

Purpose-bound access

You record a lawful purpose when you register, and again when it changes. Lookups outside that purpose are declined rather than billed.

Team controls

A principal manages seats, assigns credits and sees every lookup their team runs. Two-factor authentication on every account.

Getting access

Vetting comes first.

We are a credit bureau, not a directory. Nobody reaches a search box before we know who they are and why they are searching.

1 credit = 1 contact lookup. That is the whole unit. There is no separate report fee, no per-seat licence, and no charge for the search interface.

Pre-paid credits are used before your included credits, because they expire sooner. They last 30 days from the day you buy them.

If you regularly need more than your included credits, a seat is usually cheaper than a top-up. The calculator says so when that is true.

No subscription

Pre-paid only.

Register, get vetted, buy credits. Nothing recurs. A principal can buy credits and assign them to team members; once assigned, credits stay with that user. All pre-paid credits expire 30 days after purchase.

The details, in one place

  • All prices exclude VAT at 15%. Use the toggle above to see VAT-inclusive amounts.
  • Included credits reset on the 1st of each month. They do not roll over and cannot be transferred between users.
  • Billing runs on the 1st. Your first charge is taken at activation, and covers you until the next 1st — you receive the full 500 credits regardless of the date you join.
  • Activate on or after the 25th and your first charge covers the remainder of that month and the month following.
  • Pre-paid credits are consumed before included credits, since they expire sooner.
  • Moving from four to five users drops every seat to R300 immediately. Dropping below five reverts at the next billing date.
  • Cancel from the billing screen at any time. Your access continues to the end of the paid month.
  • TO CONFIRM: whether a lookup that returns no result is charged. Answer this here — buyers ask it first.
  • TO CONFIRM: what happens to a team member's assigned pre-paid credits when they leave the team.
  • TO CONFIRM: whether pre-paid credits survive a subscription cancellation until their 30-day expiry.

Compliance

The boring part is the product.

Anyone can hold data. The reason to buy it from a bureau is that the bureau can account for where it came from and who looked at it.

Every lookup carries a user, a timestamp and a stated purpose. Principals can export the log for their team at any time.

What exactly is a credit?

One credit buys one contact lookup. At present every lookup costs the same, whatever identifier you search on and whatever comes back.

Am I charged for a lookup that finds nothing?

TO CONFIRM — this is the first question any serious data buyer asks. Answer it plainly, whichever way you decide.

Do unused credits carry over?

Included credits expire at the end of the calendar month. Pre-paid credits expire 30 days after you buy them. Because pre-paid credits expire sooner, we spend those first.

Can I move credits between team members?

No. A principal assigns pre-paid credits to a user when purchasing them, and they stay with that user. Included credits belong to the seat they were issued to.

Is it cheaper to add a user than to buy top-ups?

Often, yes — a seat costs R300 to R350 and brings 500 lookups, while 500 top-up credits cost R850 to R1 000. We would rather tell you that than have you find out later. The calculator above works it out for you.

Do you sell data in bulk?

No. Access is per-lookup, vetted, logged and bound to the purpose you registered. Bulk requests are declined.
